Eighteen is a story about a working class family. It explores the challenges and pressures of parenthood and realistically depicts the complex parent-child relationship. The parents’ hope of earning fortune for their children’s future takes a bad turn when their young son finds himself feeling lonely and neglected, hence deciding to go on his own road that is full of ups and downs. The film is heartfelt and ends on a tender note.
